An icon is a visual symbol that is reduced to its simplest form. Icons are used in websites, software interface, and in apps. Infographics involve simplifying a complex concept in a clear visual way. Infographics are used in both print and digital spaces.

I develop a “favicon” for every site which is a tiny square the appears in the browser tab. I also have developed a range of icons for apps and software.

Designing infographics often utilizes icons as part of the visual communication. They are both challenging and rewarding to design.
